Not disappointed! 4.80 for a cask ale pint is definitely the kind of thing I’m looking for: much more expensive pints to be found elsewhere in Newcastle. “ There was a crowd of 11 of us wandering through town after getting some food, looking for a nice place to get a few post dinner drinks, and wandered passed The Gunner. We thought we would give it a try, so we wandered in. luckily, there was a big table beside the window that was empty, so we grabbed that. The service was fine, the drinks reasonably priced for town, and the toilets clean and tidy. The music as decent and played at a reasonable volume, so that it didn’t interfere with conversation. there is a photo booth upstairs if you fancy a photo with a significant other! :) ”
